The History Of Air

For those of you who have been in my shop located in Woodland Park, CO You know that I cary a fairly large selection of Pre-Charged Pneumatic (PCP) Air Rifles. Many of you have probably heard me tell the story of PCP Air Guns and tell about the Girandoni being the predecessor of all PCP air rifles and it being carried by the Lewis and Clark expedition. While I do my best to keep factual and provide an interesting story, Phil Schreier from the National Firearms Museum does a much better job of breaking down the historical significance of the Girandoni both on this continent and in Europe. The Girandoni defiantly helped conquer the west and ensure the United States dominance from sea to shining sea.
